David Kirby

David Kirby is currently serving as the Policy and Public Affairs Officer for Wales at The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) since March 2022. Prior to this role, David held the position of Policy Support Officer at Care & Repair Cymru from July 2021 to March 2022, where responsibilities included representing organizational priorities in various networks and meetings. David's experience also includes working as a Conference Producer at Forum Europe, where extensive research on EU policies was conducted, and serving as a Brand Protection Analyst at Incopro, focusing on intellectual property rights across different sectors. Earlier positions included roles at CJCH Solicitors, where investigative research and compliance were key duties, and as Communications Officer for the Cardiff Postgraduate Association. David holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Linguistics from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Portsmouth.
