Paolo Pelizzoli is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as Head of Platform Engineering at The Clearing House and Chief Technology Officer at Alakrity LLC since March 2023. Previously, Paolo held significant leadership roles in the payments industry, including EVP and COO of International Realtime Payments at Vocalink from December 2018 to March 2023, and EVP CTO of Enterprise Architecture at Mastercard. Earlier career highlights include Chief Architect & Innovation Officer at Broadridge, where Paolo led cloud transformation initiatives and established an Innovation Lab, as well as various architecture leadership positions that emphasized service-oriented architecture and operational efficiency. Paolo's expertise extends to messaging and SOA technologies at Synechron and advanced technology consulting at Adaptivity, Inc. Alongside a robust professional background, Paolo has a history of coaching, notably leading a high school girls' varsity soccer team to three consecutive finals. Paolo holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University.

The Clearing House is a banking association and payments company owned by the largest commercial banks, and dates back to 1853. The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. owns and operates core payments system infrastructure in the United States and is currently working to modernize that infrastructure by building a new, ubiquitous, real-time payment system.
