Kat Collings began their career in 2009 as a The Style Network Writer for Comcast. Kat then moved into freelance work as an Assistant Styling in 2010. In 2012, they began working for Who What Wear as an Editor, then moved up to Associate Editor, Senior Editor, and Editorial Director. Finally, in 2017, they became the Editor in Chief of Who What Wear.
Kat Collings holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2020, they obtained eight certifications from LinkedIn, including Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues, Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Managing Multiple Generations, Skills for Inclusive Conversations, Bystander Training: From Bystander to Upstander, Out and Proud: Approaching LGBT Issues in the Workplace, and Unconscious Bias.
