Brian Parker

Brian Parker is an experienced risk management professional with over 25 years in the field. Currently serving as the Director of Risk Management for the Commonwealth of Virginia since October 2018, Brian previously held the position of Risk Manager for the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, from March 2017 to October 2018, and for Henrico County Government and Public Schools from January 2014 to March 2017. Additionally, Brian was a Risk Manager for the City of Suffolk from November 2009 to January 2014 and spent 15 years as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for International Paper/West Fraser Timber Co Ltd. Brian Parker earned a degree from Norfolk State University.
