Kenyatta Beverly

Kenyatta Beverly serves as Senior Labor and Employment Counsel at The Davey Tree Expert Company since October 2020, previously holding the position of Labor and Employment Counsel. Currently recognized as a 2023 LCLD Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, Kenyatta also held the role of President at the Black Women Lawyers' Association of Greater Chicago, Inc. from June 2020 to June 2021, and served as Director of Labor Relations at Acero Schools from April 2019 to October 2020. Kenyatta’s extensive experience includes serving as Labor Relations Counsel at the Illinois Department of Central Management Services and as an Administrative Law Judge at the Illinois Labor Relations Board. Previous roles include working as an Associate at Rooney Rippie & Ratnaswamy LLP and Mayer Brown, with a focus on regulatory proceedings and environmental compliance. Kenyatta holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
