Nikitha Sattiraju

Nikitha Sattiraju is a Senior Reporter at The Deal since July 2020, focusing on private equity investments in middle market consumer, retail, and residential services. Prior experience includes reporting on tech earnings at Bloomberg, covering cannabis legislation and business at Cannabis Wire, and serving as a Rural Reporting Fellow at Milaap, where Nikitha interviewed rural women about microloans. Beginning a journalism career at YourStory Media, Nikitha reported on environmental and developmental issues. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, and Data Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and degrees in Journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications and S.K. Somaiya College of Arts, Science & Commerce.
