The Drawing Center
Alan Loehle is an accomplished artist with extensive experience in gallery representation and art programs. Currently active at Marcia Wood Gallery since January 1998, Alan also participates in The Viewing Program at The Drawing Center from January 2006 to the present. Notably, Alan was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in Painting by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation from 2007 to 2008. Alan has received multiple grants from the Pollock Krasner Foundation during the years 1991-1992, 1997-1998, and from the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in 1998-1999. Alan holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from the University of Arizona, attained between 1976 and 1979, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Drawing and Painting from The University of Georgia, completed from 1972 to 1975.
