Derek Lotfi has a diverse work experience in sales and marketing, particularly in the live events, trade show, conference, convention, and hospitality industries. Derek started their career as a Sales and Marketing Manager at E.J. Krause & Associates, where they sold exhibitions, marketing services, and sponsorships to companies in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Homeland Security. Derek then moved on to National Conference Services, Inc. (NCSI), where they held multiple roles, including Senior Sales Manager in the Conferences and Conventions Division and National Account Executive in Federal Events. In these positions, they successfully sold exhibit opportunities and sponsorships to the DoD contracting community. Derek also managed a global territory with a focus on tech companies and developed strong relationships with decision-making executives. Lotfi later joined Global Experience Specialists (GES) as a Sales Manager before becoming the National Sales Director at The Expo Group. In 2021, they worked as a Government Sales professional at Hopkins Medical Products, specializing in providing innovative solutions for healthcare professionals. Throughout their career, Lotfi has demonstrated a consultative sales approach, industry trend analysis, and the ability to identify and assess new business opportunities.
