Aini Vuorinen is a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute, involved in developing high throughput chemoproteomics platforms as part of the Crick-GSK Prosperity Partnership. Previous experience includes a position as Postdoctoral Research Associate in chemoproteomics at GSK, where Aini developed platforms for covalent fragment screening. Aini also served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Oxford, focusing on small molecules in cancer therapy and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and held research roles at the University of Jyväskylä and the University of Eastern Finland. Aini holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä.
