Steven Chapman

Steven Chapman is a seasoned professional in programmatic monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment with extensive experience in the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Head of the Programmatic Monitoring Department at The Global Fund since September 2023, Steven previously held the role of Chief Impact Officer at IKEA Foundation from February 2019 to September 2023. Steven's career includes significant positions such as Director of Evidence Measurement & Evaluation at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, Chief Conservation Officer at the World Wildlife Fund, and Chief Technical Officer at Population Services International. Steven holds a PhD in Population Dynamics from The Johns Hopkins University, a JD from The George Washington University Law School, and a BA in Economics from the University of Washington.
