Taína Borrero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations, business development, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at The Hayes Initiative since August 2021, Borrero previously held leadership roles at Emmis Communications as Director of Business Development, where collaboration with government entities and navigation of procurement processes were key responsibilities. Prior to that, as Vice President at Kasirer Consulting, Borrero was instrumental in business development and advised clients on advocacy strategies. Additional experience includes significant contributions to Teach For America, where Borrero led fundraising efforts, and various consulting roles at Hunter College and government agencies. Borrero's academic background includes a Master's degree in Domestic Policy from Princeton University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Hunter College.

THI has advised clients involved in complex legal matters and managed high-stakes media relations during crises such as Bridgegate, airport security breaches, and natural disasters including Superstorm Sandy and hurricane relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We facilitate events around the world from large conferences and galas to bilateral meetings with heads of state and executives. Our work has a long-standing record of securing and managing interviews with all of the major national print and broadcast outlets.
