Anita Charlesworth has over 30 years of work experience in the healthcare and economic sectors. anita started their career in 1990 at the Department of Health of UK, where they worked as an Economist for five years. anita then joined HM Treasury as a Director in 1998, and remained with the organization until 2007. In 2007, they took on the role of Chief Analyst at the Department of Culture, Media and Sport. During this time, they also served as Vice Chair at NHS Islington. In 2010, they became the Chief Economist at The Nuffield Trust, where they worked until 2014. anita then joined The Health Foundation as their Chief Economist and has been in this role since then. Additionally, they have served as a Non-executive Director at Whittington Health since 2011.
Anita Charlesworth began their education in 1986 at the Polytechnic of Central London, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science with a specialization in Economics. Additionally, their studies at this institution also included subjects such as social policy and women's studies. anita successfully completed their degree in 1989. Following this, Anita Charlesworth enrolled at the University of York in 1989 and completed a Master's degree in Health Economics in 1990.
