Charlie Chappell

Charlie Chappell is currently the Vice President of Innovation and R&D at The Hershey Company, where responsibilities include driving annual sales growth through innovative product launches, achieving over a 30% increase in innovation sales for 2024. Previously, within Hershey, Charlie served as Vice President/Senior Director of Media, transforming the company's media strategy to double revenue from media spending and successfully shifting the focus towards digital platforms. Prior experience includes significant roles at Procter & Gamble, where achievements included enhancing eCommerce capabilities and reviving the Camay brand, as well as managing numerous well-known brands in various international markets. Early career experience involved product development at Kimberly-Clark, with contributions to the Kotex brand and ownership of three patents. Charlie holds an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Digital from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
