Amelia Neath is a Travel Reporter and US News Reporter at The Independent since July 2023, where responsibilities include writing an average of six stories daily that cover breaking US news, politics, crime cases, and long-form content. Previous experience includes work as a Local News Reporter for The Camden New Journal, where local articles were produced through in-person interviews, and as a Journalist for EastLondonLines, leading the editorial team. Additional roles encompassed Local News Work Experience at Newsquest and Farnham Herald, and film reviewing for Redbrick Newspaper. Amelia holds a Master's in Journalism from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor's in History from the University of Birmingham.
