Matt Asherman

Matt Asherman is an experienced professional in event management and coaching, currently serving as the Trade Show & Events Manager at The Institutes since March 2022. Simultaneously, Matt is the Head Volleyball Coach at Highline Volleyball Club, where responsibilities include teaching and evaluating volleyball skills for approximately 12 students and organizing varied clinics for 25-75 players. Previous experience includes roles such as Tradeshow Meeting Planner at HMP Global, overseeing large-scale conferences, and Events Manager positions at Viewpoint Construction Software and Maxwell Systems, managing corporate meetings and events globally. Matt began a career in events with K'NEX Industries and has extensive expertise in trade shows, event marketing, and public relations, complemented by a BA in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
