Briana Boateng

Briana Boateng is an experienced writer and producer with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communication from the State University of New York at Oswego. Currently a contributing writer and reporter for The Knockturnal since January 2022, Briana previously contributed to HerAgenda.com, focusing on stories about women’s achievements and lifestyle. Past roles include producing newscasts at CBS6-WRGB and WTOP-TV 10, where responsibilities involved research, writing, and coordination of content and graphics. Additional experience encompasses a variety of positions ranging from a development intern at American High to a reporter at Oswego Now, showcasing strong skills in storytelling, social media engagement, and audience interaction. Early career experience includes work as an intern reporter at BronxNet Community Television and as a youth journalist during the College Now program at CUNY Herbert H. Lehman College.
