Mr. Mumm has over 35 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He began his career in 1979 as an apprentice lineman with L.E. Myers in the American Line Builders Apprenticeship Training (ALBAT) program. After completing the program in 1986, Mr. Mumm joined Ameren Illinois Power, Co. as a journeyman lineman and held various positions of increasing responsibility throughout his 20-year tenure with the company.
In 2005, Mr. Mumm returned to L.E. Myers as an operations manager where he was responsible for field operations for transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
In 2013, Mr. Mumm was promoted to district manager of L.E. Myers’ Decatur, IL location, where he was responsible for local operations for transmission, overhead and underground distribution, substation, and foundation construction projects with an emphasis on safety, quality, and performance.
Mr. Mumm was promoted to regional vice president in 2017, where he is responsible for working with L.E. Myers central districts to continue building the central region by utilizing resources throughout the group to capitalize on current and future opportunities.
