Antony Hoarau

Postdoctoral Researcher at The Lundquist Institute

Antony Hoarau - PhD is a postdoctoral fellow at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since October 2022. Previously, Antony completed a PhD at Inserm, focusing on hyaluronic acid and bronchial inflammation in cystic fibrosis from October 2018 to June 2022. Antony also gained research experience through two master's internships at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne, studying the influences of different matrikines on extracellular vesicle release in colorectal cancer and the effects of the QS-13 peptide on angiogenesis in vitro. Early research included amplification of the Suc2 gene and identification of bacterial strains through molecular techniques. Antony holds a Master's degree in Biology Health Quality, specializing in cellular and molecular biology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Environmental Biology.
