Stefanie McDermott

Stefanie McDermott is an experienced professional in the fields of strategic planning, operations, and process development. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Strategic Planning & Insights at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research since July 2020, McDermott has also held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Operations & Project Management and Director of Strategy & Planning. Prior experience includes an MBA internship at Health Advances and over eight years at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where McDermott advanced from Process Development Associate to Process Development Engineer III, specializing in downstream process development of monoclonal antibodies. McDermott's career began with a research internship in downstream process development at GlaxoSmithKline. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University.
