Nicole W.

Nicole W. is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in land protection and stewardship. Currently serving as the Appalachian Land Protection Manager at The Nature Conservancy, Nicole oversees the protection of key Appalachian landscapes and has previously held roles such as Land Protection Manager, where negotiation and collaboration with government partners were key responsibilities. Prior to joining The Nature Conservancy, Nicole was the Director of Natural Resources at Hudson Highlands Land Trust, coordinating statewide conservation partnerships and managing preserved lands. Additional experience includes positions at the Continental Divide Trail Coalition, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and as an Environmental Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Nicole holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
