Lauren Pool is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Teaching and Learning at The Nueva School since July 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren Pool spent a decade at Jakarta Intercultural School, where responsibilities included High School Principal, External Projects Coordinator, Deputy Head of School, Activities Coordinator, and Environmental Science & Biology Teacher. Lauren Pool's earlier experience includes teaching high school science at Graded - The American School of São Paulo from 2007 to 2013 and an internship there in 2005-2006. Lauren Pool holds a Master's degree in Teaching with a focus on Conservation Science from Miami University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia.
