Megan Eckstrom, CPCU, MSIM, currently serves as Vice President and Head of Claims at The Philadelphia Contributionship since July 2022. Prior to this role, Megan held the position of Assistant Vice President of Claims Operations at PURE Insurance from November 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included vendor management, compliance, and the execution of strategic initiatives across the Claims organization. Megan's career began at Amica Insurance, where progressive advancement led to roles such as Claims Executive Department and Assistant Branch Manager from October 2006 to November 2018. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Insurance Management from Boston University, attained in December 2022, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation from The Institutes, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on writing from Bridgewater State University.

In 1752, Benjamin Franklin joined a group of prominent citizens to establish what is now the oldest successful property and casualty insurance company in the country. He named the company The Philadelphia Contributionship for the Insurance of Houses from Loss by Fire. The "hand-in-hand" fire mark is our historic symbol. An emblem of security, it appeared originally on houses that were insured by The Contributionship, and it signified our firm commitment to "protecting homes and the well-being of people who live in them."
