The Private Office (TPO)
Lucie Thornton has extensive experience in human resources and people management. Lucie currently holds the role of Chief People Officer at The Private Office (TPO), starting in September 2022. Prior to this position, they served as the Human Resources Director at TPO from April 2018 to August 2020. Lucie also briefly worked as the Head of People at TPO from February 2018 to March 2018.
Before joining TPO, Lucie worked as the Managing Director of Thornton HR LTD from 2011 to 2018. During this time, they collaborated with various companies, including The Private Office LLP, Golders Associates UK Ltd, Greene King plc, MyHomeMove, Alan Auld Group, Conergarth Farm Day Nursery, Flying Start Day Nursery, and Personal Touch Financial Services, providing HR support and direction, developing HR strategies, and overseeing reorganizations and acquisitions.
Lucie's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of HR at Aldermore Bank PLC from September 2009 to May 2011, HR Business Manager at Cattles Invoice Finance Ltd from November 2005 to September 2009, HR Manager at Cattles plc from December 2002 to November 2005, and HR Manager at LinPac Containers International - T/A Ralegh ltd from January 1999 to February 2000.
Overall, Lucie Thornton has a strong background in HR leadership and has worked with a diverse range of organizations to drive HR strategies and support business growth.
Lucie Thornton attended Leeds Beckett University from 1989 to 1994, where they pursued a degree in Business Management. Lucie successfully completed their studies and obtained a BABM degree in that field.
