Curtis Burdette is an experienced economic development professional currently serving as the Executive Director of the Oceana County Economic Alliance and as the Economic Development Director for Oceana County at The Right Place, Inc. Since founding Starfish Training, Learning, and Consulting in August 2011, Curtis has provided innovative solutions for small businesses and non-profits. Previous roles include Vice President of Operations at Energy Capital Economic Development, General Manager at National Hospitality Services and Double JJ Resort, and various management positions in the hospitality industry. Curtis holds a Master’s degree in English Composition and Communication from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor’s degree in English and Vocal Performance from Aquinas College, and an Associate’s degree in Broadcasting/Computer Science from Muskegon Community College.
