Giuseppe Signorino is an experienced plant biologist and qualified sommelier with a strong background in plant conservation, ecology, and habitat management. Presently serving as a volunteer with The Royal Parks since October 2023, Giuseppe has been actively involved with the SBI (Italian Botanical Society) since September 2008. Previous roles include research assistant at the Natural History Museum, where Giuseppe contributed to the Red List Index for plant species, and IUCN Red List assessor, assisting with conservation assessments. Giuseppe has also worked as a data entry clerk for the London Natural History Society and held various positions in environmental guiding and horticulture. Giuseppe holds a PhD in Plant Science, along with multiple certifications in conservation and sommelier training, and has extensive educational credentials from Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria and other institutions.

The Royal Parks is the charity responsible for managing and preserving over 5,000 acres of historic parkland across London, including valuable conservation areas and important habitats for wildlife. The Royal Parks are: Bushy Park (with the Longford River), The Green Park, Greenwich Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Regent's Park (and Primrose Hill), Richmond Park and St James's Park, We are also responsible for a number of other spaces in London including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens.
