Kevin Quinlan

Kevin Quinlan serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Forestry and Land Scotland since April 2024, overseeing Scotland's national forests and land, which encompass 640,000 hectares. Kevin's extensive government experience includes the role of Director of Environment & Forestry for the Scottish Government, where policy initiatives focused on environmental protection, biodiversity, and climate change management. Kevin has also contributed to international trade and investment policy, leading efforts to enhance Scotland’s export and investment potential. Prior positions include leadership roles at the Department for International Development, where significant reforms were implemented in supply chain and financial planning. With an educational background that includes an MBA from the University of Warwick, Kevin is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a member of CIPFA.
