Morgan Fischer

Morgan Fischer is an experienced journalist currently serving as a Government and Health Reporter at The Copper Courier since January 2023. Fischer also holds the position of Newsletter Editor for The State Press, where a weekly newsletter highlighting award-winning stories is created for the ASU community. Previously, Fischer worked as a Digital Production Intern at The Arizona Republic, focusing on copy editing, SEO, and headline writing. Experience includes reporting for Cronkite News in Washington D.C., as well as various roles at The State Press, including Politics Editor and Senior Reporter. Additional internships and positions have been held at RightThisMinute and Tangerine Goods. Morgan Fischer is pursuing an education at Arizona State University, having completed studies at Northern Virginia Community College and earning an Advance High School Diploma from Dominion High School.
