The TIE
Yikai Kuo has a diverse work experience starting in 2017. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Crane Lab, where they worked from January 2017 to December 2018. In July 2017, Yikai also had a research coop position with Editas Medicine, specifically on the DNA Damage Repair Team. In 2019, they worked as a Research Coop in in-vivo gene editing at bluebird bio. From June 2020 to February 2022, Yikai was a Research Associate II at Mass General Hospital, jointly appointed to the ACTRU and the Cardiovascular Research Center under the supervision of Dr. Carlyle and Dr. Kitchen. Currently, as of March 2022, Yikai works as a Data Scientist at The Tie.
Yikai Kuo began their education in 2015, participating in the NU.in Exchange Program at McGill University, focusing on Biology. From 2016 to 2020, Yikai attended Northeastern University, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Computer Science.
