Stephen Geer

Stephen Geer has extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles, currently serving as CEO of GEER since February 2013. Geer has contributed as a Senior Advisor at Everytown for Gun Safety and The Trace since April 2014 and September 2015, respectively. Previously, Geer was a Consultant and Senior Advisor for Mayors Against Illegal Guns and held positions as Partner and Vice President for New Media at OMP. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Email and Online Fundraising for Obama for America and Manager of Online Advocacy at the Center for American Progress. Geer began his career at the Children's Defense Fund as Director of Online Operations. Educational credentials include a degree from Virginia Tech and a prior degree from Cornell University.
