As Assistant Provost and Executive Director of UChicago GRAD Administration & Policy, Beth co-leads the office responsible for providing supportive services for current and prospective graduate students, graduate alumni, and postdocs across the University’s academic divisions and professional schools. Her portfolio includes graduate admissions, student payments, student and postdoc administrative issues, and graduate student grievances. She works closely with deans of students and other campus administrators on a wide variety of graduate education issues, including initiatives and improvements stemming from the 2019 report of the Committee on Graduate Education and subsequent student, faculty, and staff committees.

Beth earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and in Feminist Studies from Stanford University and a master’s degree in Christianity and Culture from the Harvard Divinity School.
