Jason Merchant

Jason Merchant is an accomplished academic currently serving as Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and the Lorna Puttkammer Straus Distinguished Service Professor of Linguistics at the University of Chicago, where a career has spanned from January 2001 to the present, encompassing roles such as Deputy Dean of the Division of the Humanities and Professor of Linguistics. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Groningen and a Mellon postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University.
