Marko Hilden is a Senior Research Fellow specializing in comminution research at The University of Queensland since January 2006. Previously, Marko worked at Rio Tinto from May 1995 to March 2002, first as a Process Metallurgist involved in the design and commissioning of the Spirals Plant at Hamersley Iron, and then as a Metallurgist focusing on coal and energy research, characterization, and modeling projects. Marko holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Minerals Processing from The University of Queensland, obtained between 2002 and 2007, a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from the University of New England in 2001-2002, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Minerals Processing from The University of Queensland from 1989 to 1993.
