Stephen Harfield

Stephen Harfield is a Senior Research Fellow at the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health at The University of Queensland, a position held since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Fellow focused on Aboriginal Sexual Health and Wellbeing and CREATE at SAHMRI from June 2014 to March 2021, and as a Research Analyst for International Health Professionals at Health Workforce Australia from January 2012 to June 2014. Additional positions include Aboriginal Burns Coordinator at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Policy Officer in the Social Inclusion Unit at the Department of Premier and Cabinet SA. Stephen Harfield's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health at The University of Queensland, a Master of Philosophy in Applied Epidemiology from The Australian National University, a Masters of Public Health from Flinders University, and undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at the University of Adelaide.
