Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is an experienced bioinformatician currently serving as the lab manager for the Bioinformatics Lab at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center since May 2015, having previously held a similar position at Arkansas State University from August 2009 to May 2015. Daniel has a diverse background in data management, having worked as a database administrator at Caraway Medical Center, where responsibilities included overseeing an Oracle-based Electronic Medical Record system and developing a medical billing system. Additionally, Daniel has experience as a lead programmer and data analyst, contributing to significant projects in medical claims management and data analysis for academic systems. Daniel's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science, all from Arkansas State University.
