Abbie Shellist

Abbie Shellist has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, currently serving as the Director of Procurement Services at the University of Tennessee since March 2005, following roles as Associate Director of Purchasing and Assistant Director of the University of Tennessee Bookstore. Prior to joining the University, Abbie worked at Pearson as a Publisher Representative from 1997 to 2004 and served as Merchandise Manager at Barnes & Noble from 1995 to 1997. Abbie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where studies were completed from 1990 to 1994, and is an alumna of Webb School of Knoxville, having graduated in 1990.
