Mark Barber

Mark Barber serves as the Assistant Director of Enterprise Business Information Technology Solutions at The University of Texas at Austin, a position held since October 2000, where leadership of the Financial IT Team involves oversight of over 200 applications that support 22 business areas within Financial and Administrative Services. Previous experience includes roles as General Manager at Regal Entertainment Group from 1998 to 2000 and at Act III Theatres from 1989 to 1998, along with an Assistant Manager position at AMC Theatres from 1988 to 1989. Mark Barber holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, completed from 1985 to 1988, and is an alumnus of Refugio High School, graduating in 1985.
