Steve Hershman

Steve Hershman is an accomplished academic and industry leader currently serving as Associate Professor of Practice at The University of Texas at Austin since January 2024. With extensive experience in technical program management, Hershman led global teams at Biofourmis as Director of Technical Program Management - Therapeutics, successfully delivering innovative digital therapeutics and decentralized clinical trials. Previously, at Stanford University, Hershman directed mHealth initiatives, managing diverse teams focused on omics and digital health advancements. Founding LifeMap Solutions Inc., Hershman developed multiple mHealth applications and drove significant innovations in the field. Education includes a PhD in Systems Biology from Harvard University, complemented by degrees in Computer and Information Science, Chemistry, and Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
