David Givens has extensive experience in finance and compliance, currently serving as the System Administration Compliance Officer and Systemwide Compliance Manager at The University of Texas System since 2005, where guidance and direction are provided to compliance programs across multiple institutions. Prior to this role, Givens held various positions at Dell from 1999 to 2005, including Finance Manager and Senior Finance Consultant, overseeing significant vendor funding and financial support for product development teams. Givens also has a background at Intel as Finance Manager, managing capital acquisitions and financial analysis for multiple business units, and at American Airlines as a Senior Financial Analyst, where financial performance was consolidated and presented to senior management. Givens holds an MBA in Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BBA in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
