Joshua Loock

Joshua Loock is an experienced video journalist currently working at The Wall Street Journal, where responsibilities include editing videos under tight deadlines and managing the WSJ Twitter page. Prior experience includes roles as a video editor at Sinclair Broadcast Group, where short-form videos for social media and longer content for broadcast television were produced, and a multimedia internship at NPR focused on science-related photographic and video content. Joshua's earlier career involved various photography positions, including senior staff photographer roles for Writers Bloc and The Diamondback at the University of Maryland, providing compelling visual narratives. Joshua holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online.
