Pieter-Jan Speelmans started their work experience in 2010 as a Google summer of code student, where they implemented the Limesurvey 2 Database Storage Engine. Pieter-Jan continued their involvement with Google as a mentor for the Google summer of code in 2011 and as a Google code-in mentor. In 2011, they also worked as a Technical Designer at Cegeka. In 2012, they founded THEO Technologies and served as the Founder and CTO. Pieter-Jan joined Syndicate One in 2022 as a Member. Pieter-Jan Speelmans completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at KU Leuven from 2006 to 2009. Pieter-Jan continued their education at KU Leuven and obtained a Master's degree in Applied Sciences and Engineering, specializing in Computer Science, from 2009 to 2011.
