Praveen Kakkan

Praveen Kakkan is an accomplished operations leader currently serving as General Manager of Operations at Thermon - Vapor Power International since August 2022. Previously, Praveen held the position of Continuous Improvement Program Lead for the Government of Alberta from December 2020 to August 2022, and spent over thirteen years at Schlumberger in various roles, including Global Continuous Improvement Community Leader and Manufacturing Manager. Notable achievements at Schlumberger include implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, leading manufacturing operations, and overseeing business transformation projects. Praveen's educational background includes an MBA in Operations Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
