Stella Marris Martinez

Stella Marris Martinez is an experienced mining geologist currently serving as a Principal Mining Geologist at Thiess since September 2021. Prior to this role, Stella worked as a Resource Geologist for BHP Billiton Olympic Dam from March 2019 to November 2021 and held the position of Principal Resource Geologist at BHP Billiton from August 2010 to November 2021. Earlier career highlights include a position as a Consultant Geologist at Snowden, focusing on exploration and feasibility studies for coal deposits, and as a Resource Geologist at Anglo American Metallurgical Coal. Stella's foundational experience includes roles at the Department of Energy and Semirara Mining Corporation.
