James Gregson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. James began their career as an Operating Department Orderly at the NHS from 2011 to 2012. James then served as the President of Newcastle University Poker Society, where they organized weekly tournaments and managed the society's operations from 2014 to 2015. Gregson worked as a Front of House waiter at Brunning and Price Ltd, gaining customer service and communication skills from 2015 to 2016. James then took on the role of a Junior Consultant at International Citizen Service, where they analyzed a Ghanaian SME called Kokoushh and identified their strengths and weaknesses in 2016. Gregson joined Wee Ones Nursery as a Business Development Executive from May to December 2016, focusing on driving business growth. In 2017, they worked as a Business Development Intern at Well and Truly, handling social media accounts, generating leads, and conducting demos. Also in 2017, they became a Sales Intern at Third Space Learning, where they later progressed to Sales Executive and Sales Manager. Since July 2020, Gregson has been the Head of Sales at Third Space Learning, overseeing UK and US school sales and leading a team based in London and Manchester.

James Gregson completed their secondary education at Shrewsbury School from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they studied Geography, Business Studies, French (Pre-U), and Photography. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Human Geography and Town Planning from Newcastle University from 2012 to 2015.
