Jeannine Uzzi

Jeannine Uzzi is currently serving as President Elect at Thomas College, starting in October 2024. Previously, Uzzi held the position of Vice President of Academic Affairs at Adler University from August 2022 to October 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing academic leadership across three campuses and advancing the institution's social justice mission. From September 2015 to August 2022, Uzzi served as Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at the University of Southern Maine, managing academic affairs and strategic initiatives. Additional roles included consultant for the Maine Humanities Council, Director of Faculty Programs at the Associated Colleges of the South, and Associate Professor of Classics at the University of Southern Maine. Uzzi earned a PhD in Classical Studies from Duke University and a BA in Classical Languages from Hamilton College.
