Jerry Kent is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and communications sectors. Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of TierPoint since June 2010, Jerry also co-founded and holds the position of Chairman and CEO at Cequel III, a role maintained since January 2002. Previous positions include Chairman and CEO of Suddenlink Communications from March 2003 to December 2015, and Chairman at AAT Communications from May 2002 to June 2006. Jerry co-founded Charter Communications, serving as CEO from January 1993 to September 2001, and held the position of CFO at CENCOM from August 1983 to December 1992. Jerry began a career in accounting as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co. from January 1979 to August 1983. An alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis, Jerry earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management in 1979 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting in 1978.
