Michael Sølvkær Pedersen

Michael Sølvkær Pedersen is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and cloud architecture sectors, currently serving as a Global Principal and Cloud Architect at Tietoevry since August 2013. With a strong focus on cloud architecture, design, and development for data and telecom systems, Michael has also contributed to numerous proof of concept and evaluation projects. Previously, Michael held the position of Consulting Cloud Engineer at Intel Corporation from September 2016 to November 2024, specializing in the onboarding, optimization, and benchmarking of cloud solutions, particularly in the areas of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), and Virtual Network Functions (VNFs). Earlier experience includes working on-site at Cisco Systems, enhancing NFV and VNF solutions on cloud platforms. Michael holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Networks and Distributed Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electronic Engineering and IT, both from Aalborg University.
