Alexis Atkins Zicher

Alexis Atkins Zicher is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in therapeutic interventions and clinical services. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Jefferson County Public Schools since March 2018, Alexis provides therapy for middle school children in an alternative school setting and leads groups focusing on trauma and community violence. As a Therapist at Centerstone Kentucky since January 2017, Alexis conducts assessments and therapeutic interventions for children experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Previous roles include Admissions Coordinator and Behavioral Health Specialist at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, where clinical assessments and resident support were key responsibilities. Additionally, Alexis has experience as a Counselor Intern and Behavioral Health Technician in various settings. Academically, Alexis holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Lewis University.
