Mark Wernberg

Mark Wernberg has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Mark started their career as a Video Editor Producer at SuperSport in 2010, where they edited highlights for live sports events. Mark then worked as a Freelance Video Editor from 2010 to present, gaining experience in independent projects. In 2016, Mark joined Kwesé as a Promo Producer, responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing promos for various sports channels. Mark also played a crucial role in establishing the workflow and training new promo producers. Mark then advanced to become a Senior Promo Producer and Team Leader at Kwese Sports in 2017, overseeing a team of 7 promo producers and contributing to concept creation, scripting, and quality control. Mark received recognition for their work by winning a silver Promax (BDA) Africa Award. In 2018, Mark joined Golf Channel as a Producer, where they continued to demonstrate their skills until 2020. Mark then transitioned to NBC Sports Next as a Producer from 2020 to March 2023. Currently, they are working at TMRW Sports as a Producer/Editor since February 2023.

Mark Wernberg completed their education starting from 2002 to 2006, at Westridge Highschool where they obtained their Matric degree. Later, from 2010 to 2013, Mark pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management at the University of Johannesburg.
