Matt Lyman

Matt Lyman currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Toast, a role held since May 2021. Prior to this position, Lyman had a substantial tenure at Amazon Robotics, where responsibilities included serving as Director of Software and Systems QA Manager from March 2011 to May 2021. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Pinpoint Global Communications as Director of Engineering/Product Management, and at Facilis Technology as Principal Software Engineer. Lyman's early career involved significant contributions at XOS Technologies, Avid Technology, and Pinnacle Systems, focusing on software development and engineering management in various capacities. Lyman holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
