Itsik Dvir is an accomplished chief video architect with extensive experience in video coding and signal processing. Currently serving in dual roles at Huawei Technologies and Toga Networks since June 2016 and August 2013, respectively, Itsik has led R&D initiatives for next-generation video coders beyond HEVC. Prior experience includes positions as Algorithms Group Manager at Mate Intelligent Video, Senior Staff Algorithms Engineer at Zoran Microelectronics Ltd., and Chief Signal Processing Scientist at Itamar Medical Ltd. Itsik holds multiple degrees from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, including a D.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and has been influential in various innovations in video surveillance, digital cameras, and signal processing methodologies.
